How do I find property on your website?
There are 2 main ways to search for properties on the Trading Places website; the search listing and the TEEP search.
The search listing
Type in the area you wish to search in and click on the tabs to set your property criteria and click on the ‘Search’ button. You will then get a listing of property matching your criteria; click on an item on the list to see details about that property; and follow links on those pages to see even further information.
The TEEP search
You can enter the TEEP search in several ways. You can enter the search by clicking on the different states on the map, or you can click the TEEP button after you had entered property criteria, or you can follow a link from a search listing. To operate the map, move your mouse cursor over the map (the arrow should change to a hand), press and hold the left mouse button on the map and move your cursor. To zoom in, roll the mouse wheel forward and do the opposite to zoom out. Alternatively, you can navigate using the navigational arrows and zoom slider on the map. On the left side of the map are property criteria. Click to select different criteria to change what properties appear on the map.
How does TEEP work?
Trading Places has a database of property information. TEEP is a system that interfaces with google maps to show you this information coupled with geographic locations.
Why is it that the map and hybrid tabs on TEEP do not work at high zoomed in level?
Google maps has third party companies draw up maps for them. Currently such maps are not available in Malaysia. These options will become available as and when it appears on Google maps.
I’m experiencing difficulty loading the map. How do I fix this?
There are many reasons why this problem might occur. Potential solutions are available at:
http://maps.google.com/support/
Alternatively it may be a temporary problem due to a slow internet connection at that time, feel free to use the search listings to browse property instead.
How old are the satellite images on TEEP?
Most are images are between one and three years old.
How do I submit property for sale/rent?
To submit property you must first register as a seller. Once registered click on the ‘submit property’ button and follow the instructions on that page.
